Mary Caroline Saracini, 92, of Poplar Bluff, MO passed away Sunday, March 5, 2023, at St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.
Mary was born on August 5, 1930, to Gerard and Caroline (Baumgardner) Saracini in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.
Mary was a devout Catholic and active member at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Poplar Bluff. Deeply committed to her family and community, Mary led a life dedicated to supporting others. She was a public-school teacher in St. Louis and Poplar Bluff for 35 years. She was also a member of St. Anne's Altar Society. She volunteered and participated in many parish activities throughout the years. Mary’s hobbies included sewing, cooking, reading, and playing the organ.
Mary is survived by six nephews, Bill (Kim), Tom (Lorri), Todd, Tim (Rose), Trent (Karli), and David Saracini; she is also survived by numerous extended family members and friends.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Leo, and Mike Saracini.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 9, 2023, from 5:00-6:00pm at Cotrell Willow Ridge Funeral & Cremation Services in Poplar Bluff. Funeral Mass will take place on Friday, March 10, 2023, at 10:00am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will take place at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.
