Marvella Roberts Mccrory

Marvella Roberts McCrory, 75, of Poplar Bluff died Sunday, June 1, 2008 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. McCrory was born Nov. 5, 1933, in Broseley. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, and had retired as an RN after 45 years of service from County of Los Angeles Hospital. Mrs. McCrory enjoyed crocheting, gardening and growing flowers.

In 1968, she was married to Arnold McCrory. He survives.

Other survivors include three sisters, Ferdia Lee Dukes and husband Harold, of Calif., Willie Mae Wooden-Martin and Lula Mae Bennett and husband Eddy, all of Poplar Bluff; a brother, Josh Roberts, of Poplar Bluff; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

A memorial service will begin at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel, in Poplar Bluff with Brother Chester Murphy officiating. Interment will follow at Morocco Cemetery, in Butler County.
