Mark Edward Schaefer

Mark Edward Schaefer 41, of Pevely, MO passed away peacefully at home on May 7th, 2022. He was born December 25, 1980, in St Louis, MO.

Mark was a huge fan of the St. Louis Cardinals. He enjoyed collecting knives and hats. He also had a strong love for music. Mark’s greatest joys in life were hanging out with Aimee, being surrounded by family and friends, and telling stories that made everyone laugh. He also loved to talk about God and how beautiful heaven would be. Mark had a true love for the Lord. He was baptized in the Holy Spirit by Pastor Chris from the Trinity Church in Chesterfield, MO.

Mark is survived by his wife, Aimee Jo (Turner) of Pevely, MO; mother, Ruth Ann (Russell) Schaefer of Poplar Bluff, MO; three children, Savannah Schaefer of Potosi, MO, Cheyenne Henson of Springfield, MO, and Chandler Cardwell of Poplar Bluff, MO; three brothers, Fredrick Sparks, James Schaefer, and Richard Schaefer; two sisters, Amber Schaefer and Angela Schaefer; two grandchildren; Father & Mother-in-law, Lloyd and Dawn Schenewerk; two sister-in-laws, Melissa (Jeff) Thompson and Kristi (Dan) Zink; one brother-in-law, Dustin Becker; many nieces and nephews; and his two Yorkies, Charlie and Molly.

A heart of gold stopped beating, to shining eyes at rest. God broke our hearts to prove, He only takes the best.

A private graveside committal service will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Poplar Bluff, MO, where Mark will be laid to rest.
