Marjorie B. Willcut, 97, passed away on Sunday, October 1, 2023, in Suffolk, Virginia. A native of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, she was preceded in death by husbands, Millard Crane and Jack Willcut; parents, Louie and Laura Page Ogilvie; and seven sisters, Juanita Ogilvie, Eva Payne, Helen Chronister, Pat Craft, Mary Vinson, Carol Binkley and Pansy Craft. Marjorie retired as a secretary with Sears Catalog Stores, was WMU president, and Rescue Mission volunteer.
She is survived by two daughters, Glenda Slusher of Eureka Springs, Arkansas and Judith Burnett of Suffolk, Virginia; son, Terry Porter and wife Sherry of Muscatine, Iowa; nine grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and nineteen great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 09, 2023, from 12:00-1:00pm at Memorial Baptist Church in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will follow beginning at 1:00pm with Pastor Tim Engle officiating. Burial will take place at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
