Mae Carolyn (Johnson) Mason

Mae Carolyn Mason, 66, of Poplar Bluff, MO passed away on Thursday, December 23, 2021, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

Mae was born on February 12, 1955, to Willie Johnson and Mary Ann McKeller Johnson.

She loved to shop, be well dressed, cook, work in her flower garden, take care of other people, and watch westerns. She was very family oriented, business minded and was a cutup. She liked to have fun but was well disciplined and expected the same from other people.

Mae is survived by her daughter, Tamber Mason (Charles Grayse) of Poplar Bluff; sons, Deric Lamont Johnson (Natasha) of Poplar Bluff; and Gregory Monroe Johnson (Felicia) of Paducah Kentucky. Sister, Barbara McKeller of Poplar Bluff; brothers, Harold N. Johnson (Brenda) and Danny Johnson also of Poplar Bluff; grandchildren, Derion DeTajh Johnson, Saybrie Johnson and Keondrea Johnson, and several nieces and nephews.

Mae was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Tommy Holloway, ALbert Johnson, Jr. and Ezell Holloway; and sister, Ernestine Roberts.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, January 3, 2022, at Cotrell - Willow Ridge Funeral and Cremation Services with Minister Joe McClure officiating. Burial will follow at Poplar Bluff City Cemetery.
