Lucy Agnes (Brands) Savat

Lucy Agnes Savat, 100, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri passed away Friday, April 30th, 2021 in her home.

Lucy was born on November 22nd, 1920 to Theodore and Rosina Brands in Portageville, Missouri.  She married Bill Aubrey Savat on February 14th, 1947 in Portageville.

Lucy was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Poplar Bluff, where she was a cook at the school for many years. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, riding her lawnmower, and playing cards.

Lucy is survived by her five children, David (Paula) Savat of Poplar Bluff, Mary (Ken) Tackett of Springfield, Missouri, Russell Savat of Poplar Bluff, Barbara (Jon) Stokes of Poplar Bluff, and Tim (Carla) Savat of Harviell, Missouri; thirteen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.

Lucy was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three sisters, four brothers, and one grandson, Josh Savat.
A graveside committal service will be held on Monday, May 3rd, 2021 at 11:00am at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery with officiating by Father Daniel.
