Lucille (Hughes) Revelle

Lucille H. Revelle, 91, of Poplar Bluff, MO passed away on February 21, 2025, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.
Lucille was born on December 24, 1933, to Hobson and Stella Caroline (Schott) Hughes in Memphis, Tennessee.  She married her high school sweetheart, Carroll H.Revelle on February 10, 1952, at the First Baptist Church in Chaffee, MO.
Lucille was an active member of First Baptist Church in Poplar Bluff and volunteered at the Christian Life Center for many years. She was the office manager at the Missouri Natural Gas company until retirement in 1999. She enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking meals for family and friends. She enjoyed traveling and camping in the Colorado mountains.
Lucille is survived by her daughter, Elaine (Marla) Revelle; daughter-in-law, Karre Revelle; grandchildren, Stanley (Rachel) Revelle, and Candice Hambrick; great grandchildren, Stanley, Charlie, Annie, and Zelie Revelle, Noah, and Amelia Hambrick and a special niece, Brenda Farris.
Lucille was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and son George Revelle.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 26, 2025, from 11-noon at First Baptist Church in Poplar Bluff, MO. Funeral Services will immediately follow with Pastor Brandon Spain officiating. Burial will take place at Poplar Bluff City Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Missouri Baptist Children's Home in St. Louis or First Baptist Church Now and Forever Fund.
