MCCLURE, Lonnie Paul, “Paul” 87, died peacefully, with his eyes on Jesus, on July 31, 2024. He was the son of Ezekiel and Mable McClure of Mill Spring, MO. Paul was a graduate of Williamsville High School in 1955 and a member of the United Methodist Church. He married Shirley Cradic of Williamsville in 1956, and they made their home in Arnold, Missouri. Four children were born to the couple: Steven Paul, Sandra Catherine, Sherri Elizabeth, and Scott William. Each married and bore children, for a total of eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren to date. McClure was an entrepreneur, establishing four businesses in the Arnold area during his lifetime. His eldest son, Steve, manages the last business with his wife, Rosie, a mobile-home park.

Paul was proceeded in death by his parents and siblings, James and Geneva, and his in-laws, Bill and Jewell Cradic and sister-in-law, Delores Cradic.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2024, from 10:30-12:00 at the United Methodist Church in Poplar Bluff, MO. The funeral service will immediately following with Pastor John Gregory officiating. Buial will be at Poplar Bluff City Cemetery.
