Lloyd Lynn ""Red"" Richmond, 48, of Poplar Bluff, died Thursday, May 3, 2007 at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Richmond was born Jan. 15, 1959, in Poplar Bluff to Edgar and Marie (Parsons) Richmond. He attended Bible Baptist Church and was employed as a general construction worker. Mr. Richmond loved the outdoors and was an avid fisherman and hunter.
Survivors include his daughter Crystal Richmond and friend Dennis Fann, both of Poplar Bluff; his son, Kevin Richmond, of Poplar Bluff; his mother Marie P. Greene, of Poplar Bluff; two grandchildren, Victoria Beckham and Sebastian Fann; a sister, Bernice Bradley Payne and husband Ronnie, both of Poplar Bluff; three brothers, Dennis Richmond and wife Sandra, Stanley Richmond and friend Kimberly and Roger Richmond and friend Kristi Mardis, all of Poplar Bluff; and many aunts, uncles, nieces nephews and friends.
In 1984, his father Edgar Richmond and in 2005, step-father Glen Greene, preceded Mr. Richmond in death.
Visitation will be from 6 - 8 p.m. Sunday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel, in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday in the chapel, with the Reverends Howard and Maxine Coleman officiating. Burial will be at the Stephens Cemetery, in Ripley County.
