Lindell E. Deason

Lindell Eugene ""PeeWee"" Deason, 49, of Poplar Bluff, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2008 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center as the result of a motor vehicle accident.

Mr. Deason was born Nov. 3, 1958, in St. Louis. He was of the Protestant faith, and a driver for MTS, in Poplar Bluff. Mr. Deason was a veteran of the United States Navy having served 17 years; and was a member of VFW Post 6477, Amvets Post 149 and American Legion Post 630. He was an avid sports fan, and enjoyed playing pool and watching NASCAR.

Survivors include two daughters, Lorene Faith Wagner, of Virginia Beach, Va. and Sarah Kathleen Deason, of Bernie; his mother, Hazel Lorene (Hill) Bone, of Poplar Bluff; sisters, Yvonne Hughey, of Williamsville, Jeanette Jones, of Wappapello and Amy Acinelli, of Park Hills; brother, James Walter Deason, of Poplar Bluff; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

His father, James Alvin Deason; sisters, Dena Jane Deason and Diane Deason and brother, Russell Deason preceded him in death.

Visitation will be from 6 - 8 p.m. Thursday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel, in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday in the Chapel. Burial with full military honors will follow at 3 p.m. Friday at Missouri State Veteran's Cemetery, in Bloomfield.
