Linda Joan (Taylor) Ballard

Linda Joan Ballard, 75, of Poplar Bluff, MO passed away on February 07, 2025, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, MO.
Joan was born on May 21, 1949, to Raymond and Edna (Koster) Taylor in St. Louis, Missouri.  She married Lynn Gilton on, February 9th, 1969, and of this marriage Travis was born.
Joan was an avid reader, enjoyed music, crafts, painting, and jewelry making. Loved her dog, Joe and spending time with her family. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Joan is survived by one son, Travis Gilton (Madaline), three sisters, Judy Stuckwish, Joyce Tomlinson (Jerry), and Jan Bandy (Harlan); grandchildren, Trenton (Makayla), Trista, and Jameson; two great grandchildren, Oliver and Tanner, along with many nieces and nephews including Rob, Sherri, Nicole, and Michelle.
Joan was preceded in death by her parents, brother-in-law, Ivar (Bud) Stuckwish; and niece, Joanne Bellotti.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, from 10:30am-noon at Cotrell Willow Ridge Funeral & Cremation Services in Poplar Bluff, MO.
Funeral services will immediately follow with Pastor Keith Luke officiating. Burial will take place at Mill Creek Cemetery in Silex, MO on Thursday, February 13, 2025, at 1pm.
