Linda Lou (Bailey) Armes Davidson

Linda Lou Davidson, 83, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, passed away Monday, July 24, 2023, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. Linda was born on May 21, 1940, to Percy and Eva (VanMater) Bailey in Bloomfield, Missouri. She married David Davidson on April 27, 2002.

Linda worked several years in the meat department at Safeway until their closing.  She then went on to manage the snack bar at Ozark Ridge Golf Course before moving to Hostess Bakery, and on to retirement.

Linda was a member of the Memorial Baptist Church. She formed many friendships throughout her lifetime. She loved bowling and golf and was active in both leagues. Linda was proudly in the Bowling Hall of Fame. She enjoyed playing and hosting Bunko games and was a member of the Elks Club. Linda had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh and cut up. The love Linda had for her family knew no bounds. She was a treasure that will be missed by all.

Linda is survived by her husband, Dave, children, Joe (Patti) Armes, Donny (Flo) Armes, and Jimmy (Dori) Mastin; one sister Shirley Johnson; eight grandchildren, Kacia Armes, Justin Armes, Ashley Hill, Zachary Armes, Mark VanMeter, Melissa Felts, James Armes, and Brian Beebe; and many great grandchildren.

Linda was preceded by her parents; her first husband, Jack Armes; daughter, Phyllis Manns; son, Rick Mastin; and eight siblings.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 28, 2023, from 10:00-11:00am at Cotrell Willow Ridge Funeral & Cremation Services. Funeral service will follow beginning at 11:00am with Pastor Tim Ingle officiating. Burial will take place at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
