Leonard J. Moore

Leonard Julian Moore, 85, of Poplar Bluff died Tuesday, June 13, 2006 at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Moore was born Oct. 10, 1920, at Taskee. He had retired as an automobile mechanic and was of the Protestant faith. Mr. Moore enjoyed working on cars and walking through the community and socializing.

Survivors include four children, Shirley Marino, of West Palm Beach, Fla., Clyde E. Moore, Earl L. Moore and Wayne Moore, all of Poplar Bluff; six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, two great great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Nina Moore and Frances Nash, both of St. Louis.

Visitation will be from 6 - 8 p.m. Thursday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel, in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the funeral chapel. Burial will be at the City Cemetery, in Poplar Bluff.
