Lawrence (Larry) Joe Parker

Lawrence (Larry) Joe Parker, 82, of Poplar Bluff, MO passed away, surrounded by his family, on March 21, 2025, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
Larry was born on June 10, 1942, to William and Pearl (Walker) Parker in Hot Springs, Arkansas.  He married Jo-Anne Parker on April 6, 1968, in Hot Springs, AR.
Larry was a devoted father, husband, and poppy. He was married to the love of his life for 56 years. He enjoyed fishing and being around his church family, being an Elder of the church, volunteering in programs, and always being available to serve his Lord. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Larry is survived by his daughter, Dawn (Steve) Hicks; grandchildren, Savannah Hicks (Coby Hollis), and Parker Hicks; one aunt, Marsha Daniel; along with several nieces and nephews.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Jo-Anne Parker; brothers, Richard and John Parker.
Memorial gathering will be held on Monday April 7th, 2025, from 12:30-1:30 pm at Cotrell Willow Ridge Funeral & Cremation Services in Poplar Bluff, MO. Services will immediately follow with Pastor Kent Miller officiating.
