Lawanda Fay Thone

LaWanda Thone born July 10, 1946 and passed away on Thursday June 24, 2021.

LaWanda was born to Raymond and Margery Batson in Fisk, Missouri. She enjoyed spending time with her family, quilting and embroidery, gardening, and the occasional trip to the casino.

LaWanda is survived by her Son Steve Lewis (Angie); two daughters, Margery Standridge (Tim) and Elizabeth Bates; Four Grandsons, Jacob Lewis, Curtis Hardin, Zach Bates, Jake Standridge; Two Granddaughters, Cassandra Lewis, Heather Buck; Four great grandsons, Myles Lewis, Oliver Lewis, Keller Buck, Lucas Standridge; one great granddaughter, Olivia Carroll; two nephews, Bobby Batson, Kenny Bounds; four nieces, Carol Bounds, Karen Hogg, Lisa Davenport, Angie Hawkins. To whom she loved very much, including many dear friends.

LaWanda was preceded in death by her husband James Thone; Father, Raymond Batson; Mother, Margery Batson; Brother, Robert Batson; and Sister, Nettie Hill.

Visitation will begin at 12:00 PM Thursday July 1, 2021 with Funeral Service starting at 1:00 PM at Willow Ridge Funeral and Cremation Services Chapel.
