Laureatha Terry

Laureatha Terry, 68, of Poplar Bluff, passed away Friday, August 21, 2020 at Baptist Health Paducah in Paducah, KY.

Laureatha was born September 18, 1951 to Emanuel William Harvey and Rosie Lee Harris.  She and Frank Terry were married October 14, 1970.

Laureatha had a green thumb and loved plants.  She enjoyed being outside, smoking her cigarettes and drinking Pepsi.

Laureatha is survived by three daughters, Tracy Lynn Carter of Paducah, KY, Tanya Jeanenne Terry of Lansing, MI, and Felicia Marie Terry of Pittsburg, PA; four brothers, Arthur Lee Harris of Powder Spring, GA, Benjamin Harris of Poplar Bluff, Victor Harvey of St. Louis and George Harvey of St. Louis; six sisters, Theresa (Isaiah) Jones of Poplar Bluff, Rosie Lee Hall of Lansing, MI, Paula (Calvin) Harvey Pearce, Sharon Ashley, Rose Marie Ford and Tracy Goodman, all of St. Louis; special friends Patricia Perkins and Destiney Bayers; eight grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

Laureatha was preceded in death by her parents; a grandson, one sister and three brothers.

Visitation will be held Saturday, August 29, 2020 from 11-12 p.m. with funeral services to follow at 12 p.m. at Cotrell Chapel.  The Rev. Gary McCain will be officiating.
