Katie Lee Lorenz

Katie Lee Lorenz, 88, of Wappapello, died Monday, April 16, 2007 at her residence.

Mrs. Lorenz was born May 9, 1918, in Pollard, Ark. She was of the Baptist faith, a past officer for the Salvation Army and a homemaker. Mrs. Lorenz enjoyed spending time with her family and reading.

She was married to Jewel Camden who preceded her in death. In 1960, she was married to Lester Lorenz, Sr., in St. Louis. He also preceded her in death.

Survivors include three sons, Melvin Camden, of DuPont, Wash. and Donald Camden and William Camden, both of Wappapello; 14 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren; and a sister, Dorothy Kiloren, of Union, Mo.

A graveside service and burial will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the Alco Cemetery, in Alco, Ark. with the Rev. Afton Treat officiating.

Cotrell Funeral Service, of Poplar Bluff is in charge of the arrangements.
