Judy Ann (Jeffries) Coleman

Judith Ann Coleman, 80, of Poplar Bluff, MO, passed away Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at her home.

Judy was born on February 6, 1943, to Woodrow and Betty (Fraser) Jeffries in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. She married Louis Coleman on June 24, 1961, also in Poplar Bluff.

Judy was of the Christian faith. She enjoyed fishing and never missed the opportunity to do so. She liked to shop, rather if that meant going to yard sales, online shopping, or hopping from store to store. Judy was a selfless person who found joy in serving others. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. She was also an animal lover and enjoyed the company of her canine and feline companions, Angel and Demon. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. She always ended her conversations with “I love you more.”

Judy is survived by one daughter, Machell Wilson; four sons, Michael Jeffries, Lyndell (Rhonda) Coleman, Louis Bradley (Mary) Coleman, and Brian (Shannon) Coleman; sister, Donna (Ron) Jacobson; ten grandchildren, Dustin (Angie) Tanksley, Chelsea (Josh) Parkin, Karisa Coleman, Bradley (Haleigh) Coleman, Dallas Coleman, Hannah Coleman, Hailee Coleman, Justin Rettig, Carter (Kaylynn) Rettig, Bailey Coleman; eight great-grandchildren, Sarah, Autumn, Leland, Emma, Remington, RaeLee, Ravyn, and Dylan; along with numerous extended family members and friends.

Judy was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Coleman Sr.; son, Louis Coleman Jr.; sister, Nancy Innes.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 01, 2023, from 11:00am-12:00pm at Cotrell Willow Ridge Funeral & Cremation Services. Funeral service will follow beginning at noon. Burial will take place at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
