Joshua Richard Yarbrough

Joshua Richard Yarbrough, 38, ended his earthly journey Sunday, January 15, 2023, at his home, surrounded by his loving family.  Although we will miss Joshua very much, we know the instant he took his final breath, he was in the presence of God.  What a comfort to know he is with the Lord!

Joshua was born on December 15, 1984, to Jackie Maddux Yarbrough and Richard Glenn Yarbrough.  Josh encountered many health problems from birth on, but was always happy and quick to smile. He had the purest soul.  Josh loved his family, music, and stories.

Joshua was preceded in death by his loving mother, Jackie Maddux Yarbrough; beloved maternal grandparents and aunt who helped raise him:  Norman and Alma Maddux (Papa and Mimi) and Vickie Maddux (Aunt B); and his paternal grandmother Juanita Yarbrough.

Joshua is survived by his Aunt Debbie and Uncle Glen Padgett; Dad Richard Yarbrough (Sherry) and family; Aunt Sharon Averhart and family; special cousins:  Krista (John) Cornelius and family; Christian (Casey) Salyer and family; Jason (Suzy) Padgett and family, all of Poplar Bluff, and Matt Sparkman of Cape Girardeau; and his loving family at Precious Souls.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, January 19 at the Poplar Bluff City Cemetery with Pastor Tim Ingle officiating.  Josh will be buried next to his mother.
