Josephine B. Law

Josephine B. Law, 90, of Poplar Bluff, died Friday, Nov. 17, 2006 at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Law was born Feb. 29, 1916, in Clay County, Ark. She was of the Baptist faith and a homemaker. Mrs. Law enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, growing flowers, gardening and fishing.

On Oct. 21, 1933, she married Willie Dwight Law, in Corning, Ark. He preceded her in death on Aug. 5, 1995.

Survivors include 7 children, Dewayne ""Buck"" Law and wife Pat, Willard ""Autry"" Law, Jimmy Lee Law and wife Vickie, Darrell Law and wife Debbie and Dick Law, all of Poplar Bluff, Loretta Ratley and husband Gerry, of Dudley and David Law and wife Jill, of Springfield; 15 grandchildren, James Law, Kim South, Willie D. Law, Jr., Jimmy Ray ""Skeeter"" Law, Donnie Law, Ruth Dunavant, Brenda Moore, Chris Law, Nikki Boatwright, Jana Law, Devlin Law, Samantha Young, Melissa Ard, Elizabeth Tunney and Wally Law; 22 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Ruby Hayes, of Corning, Ark. and Rosetta Mitchell, of Oklahoma City, Okla.; a brother, Lenard Williamson, of Ellington; a daughter-in-law, Carolyn Law; and a son-in-law, Jim Hurt.

Her parents, Willard P. and Allie Mae (Hart) Williamson, a daughter, Doris Hurt, a sister, Pearl Davis and two brothers, Arthur Williamson and Orvil Dale Williamson, also preceded Mrs. Law in death.

Visitation will be from 6 - 8 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 19th at Cotrell Funeral Chapel, in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday in the Chapel, with the Rev. Allen Leutert officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery, in Poplar Bluff.
