Joseph "Bob" Schunk

Joseph "Bob" Schunk, 79, of Fisk, MO passed away on February 22, 2021 surrounded by his family.

Joseph was born on April 29, 1941 to Thomas and Pauline Schunk in Arkansas.  Joseph married Joyce (Nicholson) Schunk and together they celebrated 49 years of marriage.

Joseph spent his life as an active member of the Christian church devoting his life to Christ, Joseph served as a deacon and elder until his journey on earth was complete.

Joseph had a great love for his wife and family, he was a prankster always enjoyed telling a good joke.  Joseph enjoyed hunting, fishing, beekeeping and sitting down to read a good western.

Joseph is survived by wife Joyce Schunk; three children Scot (Tracy) King, Tim (Brandi) Schunk, Rochelle (Warren) Olmstead; five grandchildren Monica (Robbie) Woolem, Shawn (Brittany) Richards, Seth (Emily) Richards, Seamus and Ava Schunk; six great grandchildren Elsie and Emmit Woolem, Sawyer and Thea Richards, Wyatt and Layton Richards and one sister Linda Dixon.

Joseph was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Pauline Schunk; one brother Jimmy Schunk.

A private family service was held; a celebration of Joseph’s life will be held at a later date.
