John Blake Pruett

Beloved father, grandfather, and brother, John Blake Pruett passed suddenly on Monday, June 19, 2023, at age 54.

John was born on November 20, 1968, to James Lee and Lenda Sue (Hudson) Pruett in Paragould, Arkansas. John or "Johnny" as many affectionately called him, was a lively child always in search of adventure with a touch of mischief. It was such proclivities that ultimately led to his early career in the United States Coast Guard and later into robotics.

While John was always in search of new and exciting endeavors, the one he loved most came in the form of his three incredible daughters. Be it in his role as a parent, a coach, or a best friend, he always found insurmountable joy and pride in the happiness of his girls.

An avid golfer, traveler, and source of laughter, John will be missed dearly by his family, friends, and community.

John is survived by his mother, Lenda Pruett; brother, James Pruett Jr; three daughters, Ashley Chapa, Darby Phillips, and Aribi Pruett; four grandchildren, Zoe Lance, Roland Chapa, Adelyn Phillips, and Rosalee Phillips.

John is preceded by his father James Pruett.

A celebration of John's life will be held on Friday, June 23, 2023, from 11:00am-1:00pm at Cotrell Willow Ridge Funeral & Cremation Services.
