John Daniel Kassing, born to Nemo W. and Jacqueline Sue Kassing on April 27, 1963, and departed this life January 3, 2022, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center surrounded by his family.
John was a man of many talents. He could work on anything, loved to jam on his guitar, was quite the fisherman, photographer and truck driver but most of all he loved his family well and kept them laughing. John boy could make anyone chuckle.
He had a love for life. He liked to travel and see new places, that’s part of what he enjoyed most about truck driving. You could find him at a concert or tiki bar at any opportunity.
He leaves behind his devoted wife, Angie Kassing; Children, Shawn and Matt Kassing; Step son, Truman Tyler Aldridge; Grandchildren, Makenna, Katelyn, Raelyn, Teagan, Gavin and Rylee Ann Kassing; Sisters, Laura Milligan and Linda Pfeil (Charlie); Brother, David Kassing & great grandchild, Eleanora Jane that he was anxious to meet.
John was preceded in death by his parents, Nemo (Bud) and Jacqueline Kassing.
Visitation will be from 5pm - 7pm on Thursday, Jan. 6, 2022, at Willow Ridge Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff. Funeral services will be held at noon Friday, Jan. 7, 2022 at Willow Ridge Funeral & Cremation Services with Rev. Brian Sharp officiating. Burial with full military honors will take place at 2 pm Friday at Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, MO..
