Jo Ann Turner

Marilyn Jo Ann Turner, 83, of Poplar Bluff, MO went home to be with the Lord on March 16, 2024, with her family by her side, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.
Jo Ann was born on January 1, 1941, to Everett and Irene Coleman in Potosi, Missouri.  She married Kirby Turner on January 1, 1988, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.
Jo Ann went to St. James Catholic Elementary School, graduated from Potosi High School where she was homecoming queen, was a 1962 graduate of DePaul Nursing School, and a 1976 graduate of Wesley Medical Center School of Anesthesia in Wichita, Kansas. She was voted Ms. Potosi 1958, by the Cosmopolitan Society. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and nurse. She would pray without ceasing for those she loved and cared for. She will be truly missed by all her family and friends.
Jo Ann is survived by her husband of 36 years, Kirby Turner; eight children, Jeff (Kimberly) Coleman, Joseph (Julie) Coleman, Jina (Todd) Long, Jill Coleman, Lynn (James) Stillwell, Cara (Kyle) Domann, Margaret (Robert) Bougadis, Sarah (Serge) Hansel; eighteen grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
Jo Ann was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 21, 2024, from 4:00-6:00 pm at Cotrell Willow Ridge Funeral & Cremation Services in Poplar Bluff, MO.
Funeral mass will be on Friday, March 22, 2024, at 10:00 am at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Poplar Bluff, Missouri with Father Danial Robles officiating.  Burial will take place at Calvary Cemetery in Potosi, Missouri.
