Joan Lorriane (Montgomery) Lewis

Joan Lorriane Lewis, 75, of Poplar Bluff, MO passed away Sunday, July 04, 2021, at her home in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.

Joan was born on April 7, 1946, to Thurman and Lillie (Boling) Montgomery in Loogootee, Indiana.  She married Cecil Ray Lewis on June 11, 1966, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.

Joan was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. She absolutely loved to crochet and was very talented at it, but her greatest joy by far in life was spending time with her family.

Joan is survived by one son, Bennie (Kim) Lewis of Poplar Bluff; two brothers, Doug Montgomery, and Bill (Carolyn) Montgomery; three sisters, Sharon Ellis, Christina (Billy Joe) Rucker, and Sue Redman; five grandchildren, Kyle (Meagan) Lewis, Courtney (Caleb) Ryman, Jackie Lewis, Emileigh Lewis, and Emma Lewis; two great-grandchildren, Hunter Lane Lewis and Catney Ryla Ryman.

Joan was preceded by her parents; husband, Cecil Ray Lewis; and two brothers.

A graveside committal service will be held on Friday, July 09, 2021, at 2:00pm at Woodlawn Cemetery in Poplar Bluff where she will rest next to her husband. Reverend Rockie Hopper will be officiating.
