Jimmy "Possum" Charles Bridges, 67, of Poplar Bluff, MO passed away Friday, September 4th, 2020 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff.
Jimmy was born on October 27, 1952 to Jack and Arleva Bridges in Jonesboro, Arkansas.
Jimmy enjoyed reading western books and completing crossword puzzles to pass the time.
Jimmy is survived by one son, James Magil of Branson, Missouri; two daughters, Christina Elmer of Weatherford, Oklahoma and Jennifer Bridges also of Weatherford, Oklahoma; four sisters, Kay Moody, Debbie Mangrum, Sharon Foster, and Sue Gann, all of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; and ten grandchildren.
Jimmy was preceded by his parents; one brother, Bobby Mangrum; one daughter, Crystal Thurman; and one granddaughter, Chantelle Sawyer.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at 10:00AM with memorial service to follow at 11:00AM at Cotrell Chapel.
