Jessica Lynn Gowen

Jessica Lynn Gowen, 30, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, passed away Friday, June 23, 2023, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St Louis.

Jessica was born September 3, 1992, in Poplar Bluff to Stephen Wayne and Christy (Hyde) Gowen. She was a graduate of Poplar Bluff High School and attended Three Rivers College. Until her health declined, she was employed in retail sales. Jessica loved all animals and was active in animal rescues. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and was loved by all who knew her.  She will be missed.

Survivors her mother and stepfather Christy and Carlos Bazzell; her father, Stephen Wayne Gowen; her brother Billy Gowen; her maternal grandmother Sue Hyde and paternal step-grandmother Becky Gowen; her stepsister Katie (Joe) Mosher and their children Nolan and Noelle; and close special aunts, Staci Gowen and Lori Gowen.

A gathering of family and friends will begin at 2 pm Saturday, July 8, 2023, at Cotrell Willow Ridge Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff, with a Celebration of Life following at 3 pm. Pastor Steven Burns will be officiating.
