Jerry Lee Taylor

Jerry Lee Taylor, 70, of Poplar Bluff, died Wednesday, January 9, 2008 at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. Mr. Taylor was born November 14, 1937 in Poplar Bluff. He was an engineer with Boeing Aircraft and enjoyed watching football, reading and loved his dog. Mr. Taylor was a veteran of the United States Air Force.

On October 23, 1976 he was married to Anna Frances Mathis in New Orleans. She preceded him in death on April 14, 2003.

Surviving are 3 sisters, Diana Reed and Vicki Barton of Poplar Bluff and Marie Groffel of St. Louis; 4 brothers, Bob Taylor, Paul Taylor and Carrol Taylor all of Poplar Bluff and Don Taylor of Statesboro, Georgia; and many nieces, nephews and other family members.

There will be a graveside service at 10:30 A.M., Saturday, January 12, 2008 at the City Cemetery with Rev. Richard Triplett officiating.
