Jerry William Mcnamee

Jerry William McNamee, 85, of Poplar Bluff, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2021. He was born March 30, 1935, in Poplar Bluff, MO

Jerry retired from the Navy after 22 years and served in the Vietnam War.  He had also worked for 18 years in the maintenance department at Doctors Hospital in Poplar Bluff.

Jerry is survived by his wife of 64 years Mary (Hillis) McNamee; three children, Jerry Mart McNamee (Jane), Debbie Cash (Stevie), and Rob McNamee (Andrea); three grandchildren, Nicole Bilbrey (Ike), Brandon Bilbrey and Nick McNamee (Andrea); and two great-grandchildren, Issac Gootee and Graylin McNamee.

A graveside service with full military honors will be at 11 am Thursday at Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield with Dr. Steve Proctor officiating.

The family has requested face coverings be worn and social distancing practiced.
