Jerry "Jj" Jarrett

Jerry (JJ) Lee Jarrett, 84, of Poplar Bluff, MO passed away on February 28, 2024, at Westwood Hills Healthcare in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.
JJ was born on September 19, 1939, to Odis and Ethel Mae Herndon Jerrett in Doniphan, Missouri.
JJ enjoyed shooting pool, playing golf, dancing, visiting casinos, and just living life to the fullest. He will be missed by all his family and friends.
JJ is survived by two children, Gary Decker of Springfield MO, and Shirley Greer (John) of Piggott AR; five grandchildren, Colton, Cody, Devon, Leticia, and Chelsea; five great grandchildren, Maleena, Haylee, Rylee, Macie, and Dayton; one brother-in-law, John Reeves; and many nieces and nephews.
JJ was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Wanda Reeves and Virgie Emmons (Jerald) and one son, Ricky Jarrett; and Ricky's mother, Barb.
Visitation will be held on Monday from12:00-1:00 pm at Cotrell Willow Ridge Funeral & Cremation Services in Poplar Bluff, MO. Funeral services will immediately follow starting at 1:00 pm with Pastor Leon Harvey officiating. Burial will take place at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Doniphan, Missouri.
