Col. Jerry Lee Dicken, 64, of Poplar Bluff died Sunday, June 3, 2007, at his residence.
Col. Dicken was born Nov. 15, 1942, in Butler County and was of the Protestant faith. Graduating from Poplar Bluff High school and the Kansas City School for Auctioneers, he was a retired auctioneer and farmer. Col. Dicken enjoyed spending time with his family and attending senior dances and auctions.
Survivors include three sisters, Kathryn George, of Sikeston and Lora Pennell and Shirley Davis, both of Poplar Bluff; three nephews; one great niece and one great nephew.
His parents Robert L. and Bernice Audrey (Nixon) Dicken preceded Col. Dicken in death.
Visitation will be from 12 - 2 p.m. Thursday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. in the chapel, with the Rev. Leroy Murray officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery, in Poplar Bluff.
