Jerry D. Daves

Jerry Deloy Daves, 68, of Poplar Bluff died Monday, July 24, 2006 at the Westwood Hills Healthcare Center, in Poplar Bluff.

Mr. Daves was born June 25, 1938, in Greenville to the late Oda and Opal (Leach) Daves. He was of the Pentecostal faith and a retired construction worker. Mr. Daves enjoyed spending time with his family and working outdoors.

On Feb. 14, 1964, he married Alma Lee Urich, in East St. Louis. She survives.

Other survivors include his daughter, Kim Prenzel and husband Kenny, of Poplar Bluff; son, Jerry Daves and wife Kathy, of Poplar Bluff; two grandchildren, one great-grandchild; and a brother, Benny Daves, of Poplar Bluff.
