Ramona Jean ""Jeanie"" Hopkins, 71, of Poplar Bluff died Sunday, Sept. 30, 2007 at her residence.
Mrs. Hopkins was born Sept. 20, 1936, in Spadra, Ark. She was a member of Trinity Grace Assembly and attended Fellowship General Baptist Church as well. Mrs. Hopkins was retired from Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center as an RN, and was a member of the Red Hat Society. She enjoyed spending time with her family, playing the Casino slot machines, and sewing, reading and dancing.
On May 16, 1992, she married Norman Eugene Hopkins, in Poplar Bluff. He survives.
Other survivors include daughters, Debi Dancer and husband Mark, Karen Albright-Marsh and husband John and Jada Bush, all of Poplar Bluff; sons, Dearl Albright, of Riverside, Calif. and Curtis Hopkins and wife Angie, of Bloomfield; granddaughter, Jayne Card; great-granddaughter, Jasmine Card; and sister, Kit Relph, of Rancho Santa Marguerita, Calif.
Her parents, Charles O. and Isabelle (Hook) Harris, and brother-in-law, Danny Relph preceded her in death.
Visitation will be from 6 - 8 p.m. Thursday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel, in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday in the chapel with the Rev. Byron Beck officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
