Jason Dean Vaughn, Sr., 59, of Poplar Bluff died Monday, Oct. 15, 2007 at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Vaughn was born Feb. 6, 1948, in Fagus, Mo. He was a member of Cornerstone Tabernacle Church, and due to his health had retired as a Carpenter. Mr. Vaughn enjoyed fishing and tinkering with lawn mowers.
On Aug. 18, 1989, he married Sharon Malcolm, in Poplar Bluff. She survives.
Other survivors include his mother, Emma Ivy Pratt Vaughn, of Poplar Bluff; children, Brenda Huitt and husband Herbert, of Poplar Bluff, Roy Vaughn and wife Noel, of Pennsylvania, Jason Vaughn and wife Ronda, of Van Buren, John Vaughn and wife Melissa, of Poplar Bluff, Johnathon Vaughn, of Belen, New Mexico, Melissa Vaughn, of Joplin, Mo. and Emma Vaughn; grandchildren, Royce Vaughn, Donnie Vaughn, Cody Vaughn, Charles Huitt, Jr., Angela Huitt, Debbie Doggett, Emma Vaughn, Elizabeth Vaughn, Jada Vaughn, Jonna Vaughn, Serenity Patterson, Zachary Patterson and Courtney Cooper; great-granddaughter, McKenzie Lovell; and brothers, Mike Vaughn and Danny Vaughn, both of Poplar Bluff.
His father, Jason E. Vaughn, sister, Becky Vaughn Powell and brothers, George Vaughn and Tommy Vaughn preceded him in death.
Visitation will be from 6 - 8 p.m. Tuesday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel. The funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel, with the Rev. Brian Parkey officiating. Burial will be at Black Creek Cemetery.
