Jannetta Marie Jaco

July 19, 1943 — September 2, 2006

Janetta Marie Jaco, 63, of Poplar Bluff, died Saturday, Sept. 2, 2006 at her residence.

Mrs. Jaco was born July 19, 1943, in Poplar Bluff to the late Lloyd and Goldie M. (Pitts) Mosley. She was of the Baptist faith and a homemaker. Mrs. Jaco had previously worked as a CNA at several nursing homes in the Poplar Bluff area. She enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren, taking care of others, crocheting, reading and listening to country music.

On Dec. 15, 1961, she married Ted Jaco, in Corning, Ark. He survives.

Other survivors include seven children, Ellen Oxley and husband Larry, Becky Jaco, Vicki Sharp and Johnny Jaco and wife Pam, all of Poplar Bluff, Penny Simpson and husband Rick, of Ft. Worth, Tex., Teddy L. Jaco, of Houston, and Kim Ziegler and husband Robyn, of Ozark; 12 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.

An infant son, David Richard Jaco, a second son, Gene Richard Jaco, in 1979 and a brother, Jimmy Lee McCallister, in 1983 also preceded Mrs. Jaco in death.

Visitation will begin at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel, in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will follow at 11:30 a.m. in the chapel, with the Rev. Jimmy Gilbert officiating. Burial will be at the City Cemetery, in Poplar Bluff.
