Janice Lorene (Jones) Jameson

Janice Lorene Jameson, 77, of Poplar Bluff, MO passed away Thursday, August 22, 2024.

Janice was born on September 21, 1946, to Arthur and Thelma (Aud) Jones in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. She married Ronald Jameson on July 24, 1965, in Corning, Arkansas.

Janice enjoyed playing bingo, scrabble, and completing crossword puzzles. She liked traveling and visiting the casino from time to time. She was a loving person who thoroughly liked helping and caring for others. Janice was the biggest cheerleader and supporter of her children and grandchildren throughout the years. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family.

Janice is survived by her husband, Ron Jameson; three children, Kevin Jameson, Kelly Turner, and Kayla (Jesse) Hicks; two sisters, Carol Shirley and Virginia Sisk; four grandchildren, Tiffany Thomas, Jordan Jameson, Taylor Turner, and Emily Turner; four great-grandchildren, Seth Roney, Ian Smith, Rylan Ramirez, and Maya Infante; along with numerous extended family and friends.

Janice was preceded in death by her parents; daughter in infancy, Rhonda Jameson; brother, Billy Jones.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 26, 2024, from 10:00-11:00am at Cotrell Willow Ridge Funeral & Cremation Services. Funeral will follow beginning at 11:00am with Pastor Dennis Aud officiating. Burial will take place at the Poplar Bluff City Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Louis Children's Hospital.
