Janet Marie Brown

Janet Marie Brown, 71, passed away on July 30, 2024, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.

Janet was born on February 6, 1953, to Loren and Ruby (Fears) Spradling in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.  She married Douglas Earl Brown on February 26th, 1971.

Janet worked for many years at Rowe Furniture. She enjoyed spending time with her friend, Regina, at the casinos and shopping. Before her husband passed away, they loved playing Bingo together. Janet enjoyed dancing with her sister and loved spending time with her family and friends.

Janet is survived by one daughter, Susanne Brown; one granddaughter, Autumn Brown (Corey Fain); one grandson, Austin Grant; one brother, Danny Spradling; one sister, Doris Pourchot (Rex); two nieces, Brandi Hotchkiss (Chuck), and Misty Spradling; two great grandchildren and many great nieces and nephews.

Janet was preceded in death by her parents, Loren and Ruby; her husband, Douglas; her brother, Ray Fears, and one niece, Donna Wyatt.

Graveside will be held at a later date at Sparkman Cemetery.
