James (Jim) Leonard Hartline, 68, of Poplar Bluff, MO passed away on December 29, 2024, at Cedargate Health Care from a 3 1/2-year battle with dementia.
Jim was born on January 11, 1956, to Loman and Bertha Hartline in Dexter, Missouri.
Jim served in the Air Force and made a career of being a truck driver. He loved riding his Harley, talking on the phone, and most of all being with his grandsons that he loved so much. Jim was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He will be missed dearly by his friends and family.
Jim is survived by his loving wife, Tena Parks Hartline; son, Eddie (Amanda) Hartline; daughter, Donita Hartline; stepson, Justin (Amie) Parks; five grandsons, Chase and Cason Parks, Peyton and Noah Hartline, and Trenton Maddox; 2 brothers, Loyd (Carol) Estes, and David (Michelle) Hartline; three sisters, Joanne (Mike) Mangum, Beverly (Donnie) Courter, and Barbara Hartline.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Loman and Bertha Hartline.
Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, January 8th, 2025, beginning at 11:00 am with full military honors at the Missouri Veteran's Cemetery in Bloomfield, MO.
