James Alan Parks

James Alan Parks, 57, of Greenville, MO passed away on May 10, 2023 at his home in Greenville, Missouri.
Alan was born on October 22, 1965 to James and Carol (Eason) Parks in Kennett, Missouri.  He married Kathy (Dunehoo) Parks.
Alan enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, woodworking, collecting rocks and St. Louis Cardinals memorabilia and spending time with his son, Hunter, at the races. Most of all he loved being with his grandson, Blue. Spending time with family and friends was a favorite past time.  Alan will always be loved and dearly missed by all his family and friends.
Alan is survived by his parents: James and Carol, wife: Kathy, 2 children: Cassie Jo (Logan) and Hunter, 2 grandsons, Blue and soon to be, Knox, 2 siblings: Cindy (Rodney) Moore and Kevin Parks, 2 nieces: Sarah (Austin) and Kendra, one nephew: Brandon, a special Aunt Janet (Uncle Ted) Hardin and Uncle Larry Eason, along with several cousins and numerous friends.
Alan was preceded in death by his grandparents: Roy and Wanell Eason and Clifford and Arlene Parks, and one nephew, Nicholas Moore.
Visitation will be held on May 13, 2023 from 10:00-12:00 at Cotrell Willow Ridge Funeral & Cremation Services in Poplar Bluff, MO
Burial will take place immediately following at Woodland Heights Cemetery in Rector AR.
