James L. Gray

James Lawrence (Jim) Gray, 76, of Poplar Bluff, died December 15, 2006, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Gray was born February 13, 1930 in Poplar Bluff. He was a member of First Baptist Church. He served his country in the US Army and worked for the US Postal Service until his retirement in 1988. He enjoyed spending time with his family and wood working.

On August 29, 1959 he married Lura (Honeys) Patterson. She survives. Other survivors include 1 son Jimmy Gray and 1 daughter Connie Bottorff, both of Poplar Bluff and 5 grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, December 18th, at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 19th, in the funeral home chapel with Dr. William Vail officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Poplar Bluff.
