Holly Grace (Stimpson) Fugate

Holly Grace Fugate, 44, of Wappapello, MO, passed away peacefully in her home, Saturday, July 27, 2024.

Holly was born on February 13, 1980, to David and Catherine (Tressler) Stimpson in York, Pennsylvania. She married Matt Fugate on March 28, 2020, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.

Holly's greatest title was Mimi. She loved her family and friends fiercely, but she made it known that her grandbabies were her pride and joy. Holly was an avid bingo player and loved hanging out with friends. She was known for being the life of the party, as well as opinionated and outspoken. Holly was a long-time employee of People’s Community Bank in Poplar Bluff, up until she was unable due to her illness. She was a member of the Wappapello Eagles Lodge #4066.

Holly is survived by her husband, Matt Fugate; two daughters, Briann (Cody) West and Brittany (Jacob) Jordan; one sister, Misty Stimpson; three brothers, David Stimpson, Erick Stimpson (Bill Crowell), and Allen Hancock; three grandchildren, Wyatt West, Wrenlee West, and Axel Jordan; a dozen nieces and nephews, along with numerous family and friends.

Holly was preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Brooklynn Evans.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 01, 2024, from 4:30-6:00pm at Cotrell Willow Ridge Funeral & Cremation Services. Funeral service will follow beginning at 6:00pm with Caleb Teague officiating. A private burial will take place at the Poplar Bluff City Cemetery where she will be laid to rest with her daughter, Brooklynn Evans.
