Helen Louise Farris Johnson, 90, of Williamsville, formerly of Poplar Bluff entered Heaven Saturday, Feb. 27, 2021, at her residence.
Louise was born Nov. 10, 1930, in Naylor to the late Walter and Florence (Fowler) Young. She was of the Pentecostal faith and was a homemaker. Helen enjoyed reading her Bible and going to church and to church singings. Most of all she treasured spending time with her family.
In 1946 Louise married James Elmer Farris. He preceded her in death in 1995. In 1997 she married Elvin A. Anthony. He preceded her in death in 2007. In 2009 Louise married Ray Johnson. He survives.
Other survivors include five children, Larry W. Farris of Hunter, Rita June (Bud) Townsend of Doniphan, Florence L. (Donny) Armes of Williamsville, Gary W. (Paula) Farris of Park Hills, and Laura L. (Doyle) Sappington of Poplar Bluff; a sister Loretta Sullivan of Poplar Bluff; 10 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and a sister-in-law Donna Young of Naylor.
A daughter Judy Lee Shutte, two sons, James R. Farris, and Michael E. Farris, four brothers, Glen (Chris)Young, Jimmy Young, Weldon (Marie) Young, and Calvin Young, and a brother-in-law Oneil Sullivan also preceded Louise in death.
A visitation will be from 6 to 7 pm Wednesday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel. The funeral service will begin at 10 am Thursday in the funeral chapel with Pastor Jerry Lemons officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery in Hunter, MO.
