Hazel E. McIver, 78, of Poplar Bluff died Sunday, July 15, 2007 at her residence.
Ms. McIver was born Feb. 24, 1929, in Greenville. She was a member of Poplar Bluff Pentecostal Church, and had retired as a homemaker with the Butler County Health Department. Mrs. McIver enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, reading her Bible which she has completed 5 times and canning and making jelly.
Survivors include her daughter, Debbie Summers, of Poplar Bluff; her son, James Dale Tull, of Hiram, Ga.; 7 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren; and 2 brothers, Carl Woods, of Wappapello and Wayne Woods, of Poplar Bluff.
Visitation will be from 6 - 8 p.m. Tuesday at Cotrell Funeral chapel, in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the chapel with the Rev. Linda Murray officiating. Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery, in Poplar Bluff.
