Harold Cecil Whitehead

Harold Cecil Whitehead, 90, of Maryland Heights, Missouri, passed away Saturday, February 03, 2024.

Harold was born on March 27, 1933, to Cecil and Mellie (Psalmonds) Whitehead in Malden, Missouri. He married Lavern (Davis) Whitehead on September 3, 1951, in Piggott, Arkansas.

Harold was a loving husband for over 65 years before the passing of his wife in 2016. After his retirement from Ford Motor Company in 1994, he and Lavern spent most of their time together traveling or outdoors. He was a dedicated husband, father, and grandfather.

Harold is survived by one son, Kerry Whitehead; one brother, James (Pam) Whitehead; four sisters, Zoetta Hill, Margaret (Dale) Tidwell, Frances Hefner, and Barbara (Jerry) Johnson; two grandchildren, Jamie (Chris) Whitehead and Christopher Whitehead; two great-grandchildren; along with numerous cousins, extended family, and friends.

Harold was preceded by his wife and son, Keith Whitehead.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2024, from 2:00-3:00pm at Cotrell Willow Ridge Funeral & Cremation Services. Funeral will follow beginning at 3:00pm. Burial will take place at Qulin Cemetery where he will be laid to rest next to his wife.
