H. Beryle Coker Holtzhouser, 80, of Poplar Bluff, died Tuesday, July 24, 2007 at the Columbia Regional Medical Center, in Columbia.
Mrs. Holtzhouser was born Sept. 28, 1926, in Poplar Bluff. She was a member of Grace Methodist Church, in Poplar Bluff, and had retired from Doctor's Regional Medical Center as a pharmacy tech. Mrs. Holtzhouser was a member of the Rebekah Lodge as well.
She was married to Chalmer Holtzhouser who preceded her in death and whose children Mildred Barron and Merlin Holtzhouser survive. Other survivors include three daughters, Judy Coker Tilmon, of Sudlersville, Md., Carrol Elaine Bahr, of Montesano, Wash. and Ruth Ann Arends, of Columbia, Mo.; 7 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Peggy Batten, of Poplar Bluff and Lucille Dinwiddie, of Portland, Tenn.
A Rebekah service will begin at 6 p.m. Thursday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel with visitation following until 8 p.m. The funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. Friday in the chapel with the Rev. Ken Kennedy officiating. Burial will be at Fairdealing Cemetery, in Fairdealing, Mo.
