Gerald Anthony Sieben

Gerald "Jerry" Anthony Sieben, 81, of Poplar Bluff, MO passed away Monday, September 05, 2022, at John J. Pershing VA Medical Center with both of his daughters by his side.

Jerry was born on June 19, 1941, to Norbert and Pearl (Zaugg) Sieben in Aurora, Illinois. He married the love of his life, Mary Nell (Alexander) in 1966, also in Aurora.

Jerry enjoyed watching westerns and old car shows, camping in his motorhome, hunting for a good deal at the Salvation Army, and visiting Texas every winter to escape the cold weather. Jerry was a used car dealer for many years, before retiring to travel. In his younger years, he enjoyed motorcycles and was quite the ladies’ man.

Jerry leaves behind two daughters, Angela (Sieben) Farris and Tina (Sieben) Batton; two granddaughters, Alyson Sieben and Dena Boyer; one sister, Norma (Sieben) Dillard; five bonus children, Bill (Brenda) Kipper, Don Kipper, Candy (Roger) Dugas, James Brandon, and Manuel (Bency) Sertuche; Jerry is also survived by numerous other grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family, and friends whom he loved dearly.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mary Nell Sieben; two grandsons, Derek Sieben and Darrell Brown Jr.; one bonus daughter, Judy McGowan; three brothers, Bob, Lloyd, and Jimmy Sieben; and one sister, Mary (Sieben) Barron.

A celebration of life will be held on November 5, 2022, at 2:00pm at his daughter’s home in Qulin for friends and family.
