Gerald L. Reatherford

Gerald L. ""Jerry"" Reatherford, 56, of Poplar Bluff, died Tuesday, April 8, 2008 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Reatherford was born Aug. 27, 1951, in Pana, Ill. He was of the Baptist faith, and had retired from Poplar Bluff Water and Sewer Dept. Mr. Reatherford was also a veteran of the United States Army having served during the Vietnam Era.

Survivors include two daughters, Savannah Coin, of Paragould, Ark. and Makayla Beth Reatherford, of Poplar Bluff; his mother, Freida Reatherford, of Poplar Bluff; a brother, Robert Reatherford, of Pana, Ill.; and one grandchild.

Visitation will be from 6 - 8 p.m. Thursday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel, in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the Chapel, with the Rev. J. C. Bryant officiating. Burial with full military honors will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery, in Poplar Bluff.
