Georgia Amalio

Georgia Powell Amalio, 61, of Poplar Bluff, died Saturday, May 27, 2006, at her residence.

Mrs. Amalio was born Oct. 27, 1944, in East Prairie, Mo. She attended Poplar Bluff High School and in her earlier adult years was a clothing model, in St. Louis. Mrs. Amalio was a real estate saleslady.

Survivors include a daughter Cara Elen Amalio, of Poplar Bluff; her father James Amalio, Jr., of Scottsdale, Ariz.; her mother Lorene Vickery Woods; and two brothers Goldie Crow, of Poplar Bluff and Darrell Dwayne Vickery, of Memphis, Tenn.

A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 31, 2006 at the Poplar Bluff City Cemetery with the Rev. Bob Moore officiating.
