Genevieve M. Mcclelland

Genevieve Mabel McClelland was born on Jan. 2, 1921 and on Sept. 12, 2007 went home to be with her Lord, whom she had served since she was 15.

She and her husband, the late Rev. Earl McClelland pastored locally for over 60 years. Her husband preceded her in death on June 11, 1999.

She had four children, Earlene Obermeyer, of DeSoto, Mo., David McClelland and wife Linda, of St. Charles, Mo. and Iris Stonecipher and husband Joe, of Poplar Bluff; one brother, Jack Jamerson and wife Joan, of Maryland Heights, Mo.; and 15 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.

One son, Wayne B. McClelland, of Arnold, preceded her in death.

Visitation will be from 5 - 7 p.m. Sunday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel, in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday in the chapel with the Rev. Carl Woolard officiating. Burial will follow at 2 p.m. Monday at the Shepherd Hills Cemetery, in Imperial, Mo.
