Geneva B. Baugh

Geneva B. Baugh, 88, of Poplar Bluff, died Sunday, May 13, 2007 at St. John's Mercy Medical Center, in St. Louis.

Mrs. Baugh was born Nov. 10, 1918, in Springfield. She was of the Baptist faith and a homemaker. Mrs. Baugh enjoyed caring for her grandchildren, flower gardening, working in her yard and reading.

Mrs. Baugh married Loy Ray Baugh, Sr., in Chicopee, Kans. He preceded her in death on June 3, 1994.

Survivors include three sons, Loy R. Baugh, Jr. and wife Amelia, of Hot Springs, Ark.; Leonard Baugh and wife Laura, of Doniphan; and Noel Baugh and wife Sandy, of Villa Ridge; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a sister, Margaret VanderMey, of Los Angeles, Calif., and a host of other relatives and friends.

Her parents, Charles Eugene and Bertha (Roach) Crum; a daughter, Virginia Lee Baugh; and a son, David Eugene Baugh also preceded Mrs. Baugh in death.

Visitation will be from 6 - 8 p.m. Tuesday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel, in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the chapel, with the Rev. Jim Schremp officiating. Burial will be at Rombauer Cemetery.
